So why do some carers in very difficult situations in Australia STILL seem to miss out? Mile in my shoes ABCTV
At least one factor seems to be the way bureaucracies and their mentors ( the accountants) BOX up the issues . What Age?;; What principle?;; what accomodation type ? Who cares about the label ? only the dummies in Canberra ?
If the accountancy factor is to blame, its time to blame them ; maybe its horses for course a little more ???????. The way carers responded to bonuses on the program suggests so - , even if it was just a bit of recognition in their isolation - its very very high cost benefit care , and must be done!
